Description
Unleash Pestilence with the Death Guard Lord of Poxes
Crossing open ground against high-volume, long-range fire is the single biggest threat facing slow-moving Death Guard infantry. Elite units like Plague Marines risk being whittled down before they can bring their close-range firepower and melee weapons to bear. The Death Guard Lord of Poxes solves this tactical hurdle by advancing at the head of your army, enveloping your strike force in an impenetrable shroud of foul, choking biological smog.
Clad in decayed, warp-twisted power armor, this Nurgle champion embodies the grinding inevitability of the XIV Legion. As enemies choke on corroded air, the Lord of Poxes closes the distance to cleave through defensive lines with brute force and infected steel.
Devastating Auras & Frontline Dominance
1. Screening Defense with the Miasmic Turbine
Mounted upon his warped power pack, the mechanical miasmic turbine continuously vents corrosive vapor and spore-rich fumes across the battlefield. This noxious veil disrupts enemy targeting, providing crucial cover bonuses for advancing units while debilitating opposing squads caught in the toxic cloud.
2. Elite-Slaying Great Plague Blade & Plasma Fire
Designed to break the toughest enemy lines, the Lord of Poxes pairs ranged threat with overwhelming melee stopping power:
- Great Plague Blade: A massive, slab-like blade infused with necrotic toxins, tailored to carve through Space Marine armor saves and multi-wound targets.
- Plasma Pistol: Fires superheated blasts to pick off key targets or soften up enemy champions right before initiating the charge.
3. Rich Sculptural Detail for Hobbyists and Painters
Engineered with dynamic, characterful modeling cues, this multi-part plastic kit delivers an exceptional painting canvas. The model features layered textures including pitted and rusted plate armor, weeping sores, tattered decorative vestments, and billowing exhaust fumes—making it an ideal centerpiece for standard Death Guard schemes or weathered Grimdark paint jobs.
