Lore: The Endless Tide of the Moonclan

The Moonclan Grots are worshippers of the Bad Moon, a celestial body that drives them to manic acts of violence and expansion. The Stabbas are the lowest rung of this society, but their sheer numbers give them power. They are often found pouring out of subterranean caverns, marching in disorganized but terrifying mobs, following their bosses and shamans towards the nearest fight.

Their appearance is ragged and haphazard, clad in tattered robes and wielding crude, often poison-tipped weapons. Their strength lies not in skill, but in the collective madness and the overwhelming force of the Waaagh! energy that surges through the Gloomspite Gitz.

Battlefield Role: Horde Infantry and Objective Holders

In Warhammer Age of Sigmar, Stabbas are a crucial Battleline unit. Their primary role is to overwhelm the enemy through sheer weight of numbers, acting as a massive screen for more valuable units like Squigs or Troggoths. • Stabbas and Moon Shields: Equipped with short, jagged blades and crude shields, this configuration maximizes their defensive save and is ideal for holding objectives in dense formations.
• Pokin’ Spears and Moon Shields: The longer reach of the pokin’ spears allows the grots in the second rank to contribute attacks, maximizing the unit’s offensive output while still benefiting from the protection of the Moon Shields.
