Description
Pulverize Defenses with Leagues of Votann Cthonian Earthshakers
When the Kin of the Votann encounter fortified bastions, bunker networks, or heavily dug-in enemy firing lines, conventional direct bombardments can waste precious time and resources. The Leagues of Votann Cthonian Earthshakers solve this problem by turning the bedrock itself into a lethal weapon. Repurposed from tectonic prospecting gear, these subterranean siege mortars drive advanced explosive payloads tunneling through the earth before detonating under unsuspecting targets.
Whether you need to deny key board objectives or blast enemy heavy infantry out of cover without exposing your artillery battery to return fire, this kit gives your Oathband the indomitable siege supremacy it demands.
Key Tactical Features and Kit Highlights
1. Versatile Subterranean Munitions
Adapt your fire support to counter specific battlefield threats with two distinct muzzle and payload configurations:
- Tremor Shells: Trigger seismic quakes below enemy emplacements to destabilize terrain, rupture defense lines, and disrupt enemy advance corridors.
- Breacher Ordnance: Subterranean drill-warheads burst through the floor of bunkers and trenches, exploding into a deadly hail of razor-sharp shrapnel. Payloads that miss direct targets use geomantic echolocation to home in on hostile movement.
2. Multifaceted Guild Crew & Posing Choices
Each Earthshaker is manned by three hardened members of the Cthonian Mining Guilds, including armored Kin operators and an Ironkin loading specialist. With interchangeable arms, heads, and bodies, as well as swappable shells for your Ironkin gunner, you can create two visually unique battery emplacements that fit seamlessly alongside your Cthonian Beserks.
3. Immersive Basing and Diorama Details
Every piece in the box adds grit and atmosphere to your collection. The kit includes detailed base toppers, ammunition crates, Guild mining axes, and two specialized subterranean breach-shell effects erupting through the cracked surface.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many full Earthshakers can I build from this box?
This kit contains all the parts needed to assemble two complete Cthonian Earthshaker siege mortars, along with their respective three-model crews (six crew members total).
Can I swap the weapon loadouts between the two mortars?
Yes. The kit includes two interchangeable barrel options and matching munitions for the Ironkin loaders, allowing you to configure each artillery piece as either a tremor or breacher mortar based on your army list.
What tools and paints are recommended for assembly?
These models are supplied unpainted and require assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue for sprue assembly and water-based acrylic paints (such as Citadel Colour or Vallejo) with a spray undercoat primer for painting.
