Introduction to Warhamnmer 40K.
Have you ever walked past a table filled with beautifully painted miniatures and wondered how the game works? Or perhaps you’ve heard whispers of the “God-Empire,” “Xenos,” and “Chaos,” and wanted to dive into the stories behind them?
This April, The Circle HK is opening its doors to all aspiring commanders. We are thrilled to announce a series of four introductory workshops at our Kwun Tong location, designed specifically for those new to the hobby of Warhammer 40,000.
What is Warhammer 40,000?
Warhammer 40k is more than just a game; it is a massive hobby that combines tactical tabletop strategy, artistic model painting, and an incredibly deep science-fiction lore spanning over 10,000 years of history.
Whether you want to lead a legion of superhuman Space Marines or command a swarm of alien Tyranids, these sessions will give you the perfect head start.
What to Expect at Our Intro Sessions
We’ve designed these sessions to be relaxed, welcoming, and informative. Over the course of the event, we will cover:
- The Universe & Lore: A beginner-friendly dive into the epic setting of the 41st Millennium.
- The Miniature Range: An introduction to the different factions and the “hobby” side of building and painting.
- The Rules of War: A guided walkthrough of the core mechanics. We’ll show you how to move, shoot, and charge your way to victory.
Event Details
To make it easy for everyone to join, we are offering both weekday evening and weekend afternoon slots.
- Thursday Sessions (Evening): April 16th & April 23rd
- Time: Starting at 19:00 (Flexible start—it’s okay if you arrive a little late!)
- Saturday Sessions (Afternoon): April 18th & April 25th
- Time: Starting at 14:00 sharp.
The Fine Print:
- Cost: Free Entry.
- Language: Conducted in English.
- Equipment: We provide all the models and dice! However, if you already have your own models, feel free to bring them along.
- Capacity: To ensure everyone gets hands-on instruction, each session is limited to a maximum of 6 players.
