Description
Necrons: Hexmark Destroyer – The Six-Armed Ambusher
Introducing the Necrons Hexmark Destroyer, a unique and terrifying addition to the Destroyer Cult that focuses on overwhelming firepower rather than melee frenzy. Unlike its Skorpekh brethren, the Hexmark specializes in close-quarters rapid suppression, acting as a deadly ambush predator that appears seemingly from nowhere to unleash a torrent of plasma fire. This single-model Necron character is an essential purchase for commanders looking to bolster their anti-infantry capabilities and add a highly mobile, disruptive element to their Warhammer 40,000 force.
Tactical Role: Rapid Fire and Counter-Charge
The Hexmark Destroyer is defined by its six integrated arms, each wielding a Despair Generator Pistol. This unique loadout allows the Hexmark to unleash an incredible volume of shots, making it exceptionally lethal against enemy infantry and light units that rely on sheer numbers.
The Hexmark excels in two primary tactical roles:
- Ambusher: Utilizing its ability to deep strike or redeploy, the Hexmark can appear suddenly in vulnerable positions, targeting enemy units trying to secure objectives or support lines.
- Counter-Charge Specialist: Due to its ability to fire multiple times in response to enemy movement or charges, the Hexmark acts as a powerful deterrent, punishing enemies who dare to approach the Necron lines. This makes it an excellent defensive screen for more vulnerable units.
This combination of mobility and devastating short-range firepower ensures that the Hexmark Destroyer provides a tactical niche that standard Necron units cannot fill, making it a high-priority target for your opponent and a crucial asset for you.
Destroyer Cult Efficiency
As a member of the Destroyer Cult, the Hexmark shares the single-minded focus on annihilation, but channels its destructive urge through advanced weaponry. The model itself is a striking representation of Necron engineering, featuring the six pistols integrated into its chassis and a dynamic pose that suggests imminent action.
If you are building a competitive Necron army or simply looking to add a character that can reliably clear enemy screens and punish aggressive maneuvers, the Hexmark Destroyer is an indispensable choice. This Citadel miniature kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly, ready to be integrated into your unstoppable Necron Dynasty.
